M&A Associate - German Speaking

This is a fabulous opportunity for a fluent German Speaking individual to join the team in London due to growth of the firm. You will have the chance to work directly with the Managing Partner in London and be involved in all aspects of complex cross border deals, generating new business leads and managing the juniors within the team. Important duties include: • Fully responsible for working on M&A projects from pitch to close. • Creation and structuring of investment memoranda • Building of complex financial models • Application of valuation techniques based on relevant sector and market research • Approach of and communication with potential investors • Coaching and mentoring of analysts and interns Person Specification • Must have 3 - 6 years of relevant professional experience in the area of investment banking/ corporate finance/ M&A • Have proven M&A sell side deal experience. • Must be fluent German Speaker • Excellent analytical, conceptual and communication skills as well as team spirit • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. • Logical and methodical approach to problem solving. • Professional skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • A motivated self-starter and team player, who can work independently
