Manager or Senior Manager - Strategic Investments

You will be reporting to the Managing Director and will support any M&A activities such as reviewing existing businesses, assessment of business case, and execution of corporate actions and mergers and acquisitions transactions.

You will proactively monitor and manage the company's investment portfolio to achieve the company's strategic objectives and commercial returns, support the deal team in transaction activities including but not limited to strategy review, transaction structuring, feasibility studies & pricing, due diligence, negotiation with counterparties on key terms, legal documentation review, financing and regulatory and internal approvals.

You will liaise with both external consultants and internal departments as part of supporting the transaction activities to enhance value, optimize exit options, manage legal positions/obligations and ensure tax efficiencies. This also include conducting company research and valuation, compile financial data, develop financial models, perform financial and operational analysis and prepare presentation materials for discussions/presentation to senior management & Board.

You will also work closely with the digital and data team to improve efficiency of the regular corporate investment/divestment reporting through automating certain processes/workflows and update of dashboard and other ad hoc responsibilities.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy / Finance / Business Administration or equivalent
• Prior 6-8 years' experience in REITs transactions, M&A, corporate transaction and/or corporate finance related work would be preferred
• Broad knowledge of capital market, direct real estate and REIT transaction
