Job Summary & Purpose:

To conduct ODD with high report quality output and minimal supervision.

To independently contribute outside of report writing to internal & client content.

To assist in monitoring, mentoring & reviewing other team members.

Review and publish peer reports as applicable.

To contribute to the development of Albourne's ODD services as well as future new initiatives

Responsibilities:

Analytical Skills

Superior ability to evaluate the most complex regional alternative investment fund managers. Focus would include an analysis of operational risk, internal controls and information system, examination of documentation, and review of staff and structure.

High level of knowledge about finance and the alternatives industry

Monitor assigned funds and update written reports to reflect pertinent changes to the operations for those funds, in line with expectations for the role.

Prepare high quality, clear, accurate, concise reports, and recommendations to clients, in line with client and management deadlines, and expectations for the role.

Project Management

Initiate and manage ODD projects

People Mentoring

Assist Team Leader in reviewing reports

Demonstrate leadership in mentoring and training team members.

Client Service

Provide accurate, timely and insightful responses to client ODD inquiries.

Develop relationships with local (and visiting) prospects and clients to support business development activities.

Attend local industry events as an ambassador for Albourne.

Thought Leadership

Assist in developing and implementing company "best practices" with respect to ODD.

Develop a network to stay current on industry standards and help to facilitate knowledge transfer within the ODD group and company.

Contribute ideas for client newsletter and intranet.

Requirements:

4+ yrs relevant work experience, with knowledge or experience of alternatives, investment manager operations/fund administration/prime brokerage/audit/legal/compliance/technology

Knowledge of Asian ODD, or strong potential/interest to develop such

Strong written communication skills

Relevant professional qualifications (CFA, CAIA, CPA, ACCA) would be a plus

Proactive self-starter, proficient time management and multi-tasking

Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.

Systems literacy (MS suite)

Travel (frequent)

Comply with terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals

Abide by the ODD policies and procedures as well as the Albourne Group's policies and procedures, including, but not limited to IFFM; compliance reporting; Information, Communications & Cyber Security Policy; Expense & Travel Policy, etc.

Attend Company Offsites

Regulatory registration (dependent on regional requirements)

Report potential conflicts to compliance and work with compliance to ensure that conflict disclosures appear on research reports.
