Your new role
The purpose of the Product Admin System Operation Lead is to look after the operational aspects of the applications including delivery of small enhancements and M&E items. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing, developing, and providing leadership to a squad of IT professionals
- Building and managing relationships with key business stakeholders to drive collaborative ownership through effective communication and governance forums
- Developing, tracking, and regularly reporting on incidents/improvements including end of sprint showcases
- Responsibility for regularly leading patching, software upgrade work in the application
- Ensuring closing of incidents within the predefined SLA timelines. Making sure incidents are addressed in a way that don't repeat again in future
To be successful for this role, you will have:
- Experience of leading large production support team (20+ people team)
- Strong Technical knowledge on Mainframe, Midrange, Microfocus and AWS. Preferred knowledge on MQs, Webservices, APIs, CTL-M, DevOps CICD etc.
- Life Insurance/Superannuation knowledge, Product Admin System knowledge. Candidate with specific knowledge on Income Protection, Risk/Term Products, Investment/Unitised products
- Understand ASIC, AFCAA and APRA's regulatory needs.
