The Role

The Investment Manager will support the Wealth Management companies Director and Partners with management of a book of UHNW / HNW clients

The Investment Manager will be expected to manage some existing private client relationships, present to potential new private clients and aid in managing fellow Investment Managers clients investment portfolios.

The Investment Manager will deal with private client queries and will dispatch periodic reports to them.

The Investment Manager will conduct MI reporting, quarterly review of client investment restrictions, CRM system maintenance and ensure necessary documentation is recorded on CRM system.

The Investment Manager will be tasked with executing clients investment strategy, portfolio modelling and model changes for the private clients

The Investment Manager will prepare and implement investment recommendations and be responsible for post trade monitoring.

The Investment Manager will arrange client meetings, prepare documents for said meetings, help contribute to client meetings and on occasion lead the meeting

The Investment Manager will on occasion, provide analysis on investment opportunities for clients and carry out independent research on unfamiliar topics and provide an objective and considered recommendation

The Candidate

At least 4/5 years experience in a similar investment management role and assisting in the management of a book of UHNW / HNW clients

Level 4 RDR Qualified is essential

Strong interest in investments is essential with a mentality of continuous development of macro-economic, finance and asset class knowledge

Prepared to be responsible for part of the private client book

CFA Charterholder (advantageous)

Degree qualification or equivalent

Good analytical skills

Strong organisational and MS Office (particularly Excel & PowerPoint) skills are essential

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
