About the Role

Level: Level 4

Department: Wealth Management - Commercial Development

Location: Flexible - travel to London required

Contract type: Permanent

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Development and other senior leaders, you will be responsible for the development, articulation, and evolution of the commercial strategy and delivery plans.

You'll identify growth opportunities whilst developing compelling business cases and plans to drive value.

You'll need to consider all required elements to deliver initiatives successfully, being able to apply critical and strategic thought to investment appraisals and delivery plans.

This will also include activity to 'enable' the initiatives, such as identifying process or system improvements or supporting regional operational activity where suitable.

Key areas include:

- Strategy development - working with the Head of Commercial Development and other stakeholders to support the development and articulation of our growth strategy.

- Opportunity generation - identifying opportunities whilst developing and delivering plans to deliver value from them.

- Opportunity management - identifying requirements and subsequent areas for development (such as process improvements, system requirements, roles and responsibilities) to ensure opportunities and managed efficiently and effectively to support the business objectives.

- Enablers - identifying and delivering value across a variety of areas which overall support opportunity generation and management to meet commercial success criteria, such as:
  • Client Data - Defining and implementing how QPCA client data can enable/support the commercial strategy to drive growth. This includes working with stakeholders to ensure client data is mature/robust, as well as ensuring allocations to financial planners are well managed and optimised. All ultimately improving productivity, enabling analysis, and supporting growth.
  • Working with regionally teams to ensure client allocations to financial planners are optimised
  • Working with stakeholders to support the transition of lower value clients to QFA whilst ensuring the delivery of good customer outcomes
  • Commercial related reporting - ensuring the delivery of commercial related reporting as required by Commercial team and broader business. Reviewing reporting today and ensuring the right questions are being asked and answered to tell cohesive and insightful stories.

You'll need strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability work effectively and build relationships with our senior leaders and regional offices.

You'll understand the importance and management information (MI), with the ability to find and articulate trends and solutions.

You'll have experience of project management, able to prioritise and manage a range of initiatives through to delivery.

Although your core role is focused on the development of Quilter Private Client Advisers, there is huge opportunity across our Wealth Management segment.

You'll need the ability to work across the division as a whole, able to learn new areas of the business, sector trends and best practice. You'll be a self-starter, able to work autonomously in building knowledge and keeping up to date with industry trends.
