Key responsibilities include:

Strategy

• Contributing and assisting the Director of FP&A with the development and implementation of a coordinated strategy for the Finance function.
• Developing and maintaining financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives

Forecasting, Planning and Analysis

• Supporting with the annual budget end to end process. Building an FP&A model and tool that will drive information across the business for effective decision making as part of the budget process
• Continuously reviewing, improving quarterly and rolling 2-year forecasts that are fully integrated within the financial planning process
• Preparing Management Information and Board reports including balanced scorecards, management accounting packs and financial models
• Providing management overview of the commercial financial support to Continuous Improvement projects and other investment initiatives.
• Developing appropriate risk and opportunities methodologies and frameworks that provide insight, and value adding analysis to safeguard the business.
• Conducting regular financial evaluations and cost benefit analysis where required.
• Assessing, developing, and monitoring KPI's and identifying the cause of unexpected variances.
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with business and divisional leaders.
• Driving shareholder value with accurate and timely financial information.
• Supporting the management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis.
• Acting as a mentor as part of an FP&A Team of 6

It is essential you have the following:

• Full Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Financial/Performance Reporting experience with an FP&A background
• Experience of effectively communicating financial complexity to non-financial colleagues
• Advanced MS Excel skills and financial modelling capabilities
• Experience of using Microsoft Power BI (advantageous)
• System development and process improvement experience (advantageous)

The senior Analyst position in Milton Keynes is offered with a starting salary between £50K - £60K + bonus
