Our analysts work on client-focused research in the equity, fixed-income, currency, and commodities markets, mining big data that enters markets around the world each day to identify game-changing insights. The Digital Strategy Group is looking for an experienced Technology Trainer to support the Global Investment Research division from our Sydney office, working with the global team with a focus on Asia Pacific. The support and technology expertise we provide is a key aspect of the group's value proposition. Colleagues from across the company depend on us to communicate and implement new product offerings to help them achieve business goals. You will play a critical role between technology end-users, product managers and developers to conduct training sessions, create documentation, test new features, and support the digital product offerings.
The Technology Trainer supports growth by ensuring a positive end-user experience in all aspects of research technology. We are a calm voice in a busy, volatile market - acting as the first line of support for client queries.
We are looking for a professional who is detail oriented, with experience training users of technology at various levels. The right candidate will be someone who can learn both the products and the division and will develop customer relationships remotely across the organization to serve as a trusted business advisor with respect to technology solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Provide training and support, via Zoom, telephone and live in-person sessions, to newly hired and existing research professionals in the use and best practices of global investment research applications
  • Manage communication and training schedules for new hires to global investment research
  • Perform user acceptance testing of new features, document testing process and outcomes, and provide feedback to product managers and developers
  • Write and edit documentation to illustrate the features and benefits of new products
  • Create and execute new marketing to evangelize new product features upon their release.
  • Track and communicate user feedback to internal stakeholders for future product enhancements.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-4 years training experience; financial technology and technology support experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
  • Outgoing, helpful, positive professional demeanor
  • Experience working as part of a global team and building relationships in remote locations
  • The resilience to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment, and apply drive and enthusiasm to your work
  • Highly organized; Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
