Responsible for institutional client facing processes such as client reporting, on boarding and termination events. Gather data from multiple sources and across various internal and external business teams, evaluate and determine if the data is accurate, and then produce the final deliverable such as a successfully on boarded new client account or a client report package. Accountable for issue identification, root cause analysis and recommending and executing viable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve successful product launches and IO project outcomes in NA within scope, schedule and budget. Conduct impact assessment on client requirements to evaluate the account structure, implementation approach and downstream operation impact. Align on end product and work with team to gather data from multiple sources and across various internal and external business teams.
  • Accountable for proactive identification of data issues, response to any REVs and addressing any client issues that arise. Develop well thought out and viable solutions that are in line with our core competencies, and established processes to work through mitigation with limited risk. Understand impacts of executing solutions and provide appropriate escalation when clients expectations are at risk or can not be met. Ensure application of internal controls, compliance requirements and required policies and procedures.
  • Lead efforts across various business and operations teams to ensure alignment and readiness for client facing events such as on-boarding new clients, redemption events, scheduled client reporting and special custom or ad hoc reporting needs. Provide subject matter expertise, effectively communicating across multiple audiences and deliver to clients within established SLAs. Developed understanding of impacted up-stream and down-stream processes.
  • Assist with re-engineering efforts (by utilizing robotics or automation) and product initiatives by developing procedures, work flows and performing user acceptance testing. Engaged in identifying short-term tactical plans and updating current procedures and policies as part of audit findings to help the team meet overall goals and objectives.
  • Complete cross training and back up responsibilities to assist team with client needs globally.


Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent (2-years) preferably in Accounting, Reporting, Finance and/or related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Solid understanding of portfolio accounting/investment operations activities.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work with limited work direction and function effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years)
  • Investment reporting experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
