You need to have a bachelor's degree in math, engineering, or computer science, preferably a master's degree, and at least 7 years of experience in financial modelling (Excel + VBA + databasing) for corporate finance, banks, infrastructure, or energy. Knowledge of in Python, C++ and/or Java, and experience in the renewable energy sector and/or the Middle East is a plus. You need to understand how to efficiently develop financial models for debt and equity transactions, be able to translate complex information to the appropriate skill and knowledge level for the audience, understand key commercial principles, set clear and reasonable goals, and be able to effectively engage with and encourage team members to achieve individual goals.

As the new Financial Modeller, key responsibilities will be facilitating the development of financial forecasts and reporting tools, creating and maintaining an entire suite of financial models, delivering strategic and operative leadership for the financial modelling team, and assisting in strategic decision-making. You will need to oversee ad-hoc financial modelling requests from the business development team, update corporate valuation models and perform cash flow and transaction analyses, integrate actual financial results with forecasted financials, create a high-performing team environment, ensures compliance with the law and company's policies, and recruiting and developing employees, partnering with the senior management and human resources.
