We are now working with a leading US investment banking advisory firm. The firm has a great presence in both New York and London, and has worked on a number of high profile deals in recent years.
They are now looking to recruit an Analyst into their Energy/ Power/ Infrastructure group, who will work on the origination and execution of deals for their clients.
Clients have historically included both private equity funds and corporates.
The focus of the role will M&A which could include mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals and other corporate finance work.
On a day to day basis you can expect to work on:
Origination work Full member of deal execution team
Financial modelling, valuations
Preparing requests and answers for further information, Deal structuring, Deal negotiation Strategic advisory work.
You will work as part of a small deal team, so you can expect to have full involvement in all aspects of transactions.
They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:
Investment bankers
project finance professionals
chartered accountants with lead advisory or TS backgrounds.
The roles are suitable for people at the 2nd/ 3rd year analyst level
