This position is a generalist role responsible for reviewing financial models, valuations and forecasts, and creating various analyses for the valuation and investment risk teams with respect to assets and portfolios. Responsibilities include assisting the Head of Valuations with the oversight and management of the quarterly valuation process and the Performance Reporting process; working with the Co-Heads of Risk in analyzing and preparing various investment risk tools in order to provide effective and proactive investment risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the Management of the Valuation process and collaboration and review of work product from Asset Management teams. Sourcing and Maintaining market information for valuation process.
  • Performance Reporting: Review and management of the track record and performance reporting. Managing the workflows and processes among the asset and portfolio management teams in the production, review, and approval of performance information and reporting. Ensuring that processes are followed, reports are compliant with SEC and FINRA rules, and company policy.
  • Investment Risk Management: Participate in Underwriting Committee, Risk Review Committee; assist the Co-Heads of Risk in the analysis and preparation of presentations for the various committees and teams in order to discuss and develop business plans/ plan adjustments for various assets/ projects.
  • Capital Raising Due Diligence and RFI's: Provide detailed ad-hoc due diligence analysis and materials in support of Lionstone's Capital team and overall fundraising efforts.
  • Process and Workflow Improvement: Assist in the development of business unit FP&A improvement recommendations (e.g., systems and processes).


Required Qualifications

  • 7-10 years' relevant experience
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Real estate operations / portfolio management experience
  • Capital markets transaction and financial structuring experience
  • Direct experience with real estate debt and equity structures and documentation.
  • Strong comprehension of risk and return and demonstrated application across multiple different transaction types.
  • Demonstrated competency in financial statement analysis, business valuation, financial reporting, accounting and finance
  • Experience with Argus Enterprise.
  • Experience interpreting, abstracting, and applying financial and operational concepts from legal documents including i) Client JV, ii) OP JV, iii) Lease, and iv) Loan documents.
