We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Executive, Life & Shield Claims.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Handles the claims assessment including claims processing and claims investigation and be able to decide on claims independently
  • Handles some claims admin duties including preparation of decline claims letters, responding to claims emails, and be able to support the team in admin work whenever help is needed
  • Handles customer service by communicating effectively and promptly with policyholders/claimants/financial consultants/doctors/nurses/vendor/customer service staff and internal staff on claims or related work matters, and ensure customer satisfaction in the services provided
  • Ensure prompt and accurate service deliverables for claims processing, payment of claims and claims letters
  • Handles Projects and System Enhancements on Life Claims and Shield Claims. The job includes attending meetings, participate actively in discussions, prepare BRS, Test Scenarios, all pre-UAT preparation activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) etc
  • Work as a team and provide support to the dept. when staff are on leave, on course or on medical leave
  • Other job tasks assigned by HOD as and when required
Requirements

Requirements
  • 2 to 6 years of working experience in life insurance company
  • Life and /or Shield Claims experience is preferred
  • Good insurance knowledge is an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and customer servicing skills
  • Good communication skills and proficient in English Language
  • Ability to adapt to changes quickly and have a positive mind-set
  • A matured person with integrity, and a good attitude
  • Diploma or degree holder
The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
