Your new role

The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for guiding, assessing and communicating best practice data governance under the Bank's Information Security Management System.

If you are a Junior setting out in the Governance space or someone who has exposure in this industry, willing to learn and grow across Data/Governance/Risk space- then this is for you!

Be collaborative with all areas of the business, especially the Information Technology team, and external assurance and security partners.

Responsibilities include:
  • Regular reporting, analysis, and advice in Governance/Risk.
  • Ensure alignment of Line 1 and 2 activity.
  • Develop, tailor and implement risk management documents, tools and resources
  • Support responses to audit and assurance processes.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Understanding of the governance, risk and compliance implications of operating in various regulatory, business and technology environments
  • Knowledge of regulatory and best practice frameworks (APRA CPS etc) desirable
  • Line 1 and/or Line 2 Governance/Risk Support experience desirable
  • Excellent business writing and communication skills
  • Strong risk management, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Develop, tailor and implement risk management documents, tools and resources.
  • Exp with managing stakeholder relationships.
