In this role, you will:
- Conduct Alternative Investments research
- Assist experienced analysts or portfolio managers in studies of industry groups
- Evaluate individual securities, classes of securities, or the development of quantitative decision making models
- Manage a category of Alternative Investments
- Draft communications to the field, including communications related to changes in money manager ratings, manager updates and topical white papers
- Perform risk analysis on third-party investment products
- Make buy, sell, and hold recommendations
- Work under direction of experienced analysts
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Retail Investment Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience performing qualitative and quantitative analysis, including statistical and performance analytics on investments
- Experience in money manager research
- Experience analyzing Alternative Investments
- Experience writing investment commentary for various audiences
- Experience working with Morningstar Direct and FactSet
- Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to create and deliver dynamic presentations
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Job Expectations:
- Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
