We are seeking a Senior Analyst who will be responsible for conducting analysis on a broad range of financial issues for Management and assisting in the development, modeling, and recommendation of tolling alternatives and strategies. The successful candidate will ensure projects and new business initiatives are developed in accordance with corporate policies. What You Will Do:

  • Review and develop increasingly sophisticated financial models of business development initiatives including fully integrated financial statements and consolidation impacts with minimal oversight/ guidance from Manager. Ensures that models are robust, transparent and flexible.

  • Assist developing comprehensive models and carryout various analysis for forecasting, budgeting, regulatory filing and others periodic analytical initiatives.

  • Assist in the development of commercial agreements and tolling principles.

  • Maintain toll models that reflect current accumulated agreements for pipeline systems operated by Enbridge Pipelines.

  • Reviews financial, economic and other key inputs provided by project stakeholders to ensure they are based on realistic and consistent assumptions. Identifies potential areas of risk and suggests risk mitigants.

  • Interact effectively with personnel across the organization and externally; conduct discussions resolving incongruities in inputs and assumptions; clearly explain the analysis developed for the project; and/or summarize the project to obtain sign-off from the Director.

  • Provide assistance in drafting Board of Directors memoranda and developing presentation material for management.

  • Load data to EPBCS, extract data from EPBCS, run various reports, run various queries from ESSBASE and OBI

  • Provide ongoing commercial/regulatory support (toll forecasts, strategy analyses, etc.).

  • Present and explain analysis results and variances, toll methodologies and issues to stakeholders.

Who You Are:

  • University Degree in Business or Economics.

  • 0-2 years of directly related experience.

  • Advance Level MS Excel literacy.

  • Knowledge of the crude oil transportation industry is desirable.

  • Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently.

  • Superior financial modeling skills and strong understanding of accounting, tax, financing, and legal issues.

  • Able to work independently under broad direction.

  • Demonstrate initiative and creativity in developing innovative approaches and solutions to business issues

Preferred:

  • MBA and CFA/CA/CPA/CMA are strongly desirable.

  • Candidates with strong financial modeling and analytical skills will be given preference.

  • Working experience with Hyperion Planning.
