After closing a $15 million Series A funding round, we have kicked off 2022 in full force (and keep growing!) doubling the team size, and we are now based in Portugal, the US, and France. All team members will play a key role in helping the company reach its ambitious goals.

 

The Role

As a Chief Financial Director (CFO), you will perform one of the most important roles within the company and manage existing teams.

We are looking for a CFO capable of offering financial and business strategic guidance and expertise, ensuring effective compliance, and accounting, and providing the much-needed financial clarity to evaluate future decisions with the founders.

You will report directly to the CEO, with whom you will align Goals, KPIs, and Strategies.

 

What will your day-to-day be like?

  • Define financial goals, objectives, and budgets;
  • Control financial KPIs and reports to C-level;
  • Drive and sustain new fundraising;
  • Manage main business support units ( Finance, Accounting, Legal and Compliance, and HR);
  • Managing the relationship and communication with banks, accounting providers, auditors, investors, the management team, and the founders;
  • Support all business units in terms of Budgeting and Planning;
  • Optimization and management of Internal financial processes based on best practices with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A degree in Management, Economics, or a similar area;
  • 10+ years of professional experience as a Finance Director/CFO;
  • Experience leading by example, so you are a CFO with strong and successful leadership skills;
  • Experience leading a Finance team;
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills;
  • Experience managing the P&L, budgets, and business plans;
  • Startup experience and mentality are a plus;
  • Experience in financing rounds and VC investment process;
  • Fluent in English.
