The Role: Data Delivery Product Specialist
The Location: Houston, Calgary, Denver
The Team: As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the Upstream Content API technologies and service products in the North America Upstream Energy product portfolio.
The Impact: This position will support driving profitable revenue growth of data product(s) through an extensive understanding of market needs and requirements to solve customer problems.

This position requires a thorough understanding and experience in the Upstream Energy industry specific to the domain supported by the product.
Responsibilities:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $58,300 to $115,850.00. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the product management and product development teams to define product requirements and ensure they match client expectations
- Actively participate in all Agile Scrum ceremony activities, such as daily standups, backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide ideas for resolution
- Interacts with members of product development, sales and, customer support, and directly with customers to provide product assistance and troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Development of data-driven dashboards and other visuals using Power BI, Spotfire or Tableau
- Create and maintain product documentation - release notes, training materials, API samples, etc.
- University degree (or equivalent experience) in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or other related designation.
- Typically, 1+ years of industry-related experience, with current knowledge of the Upstream Energy sector.
- Experience working in a technical or customer support role.
- Experience working on an agile product development team using Azure DevOps, Rally, Jira or similar tools would be beneficial.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Spotfire, or Tableau
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- An aptitude to learn new technologies
- The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting.
- Must be able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
