HR Business Partner

Newly created opportunity for an experienced generalist HR Business Partner who enjoys site based exposure.This is a newly created opportunity that possesses the ability to influence change and build upon contemporary best practice in human resources.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of client sites and support the management team in a generalist capacity.

Duties will include:

• Coaching and development of site management
• Acting as a trusted advisor to the senior management team
• Supporting the development of leadership capability
• Reviewing current practice and supporting strategic and operational development of human resources for the sites
• Talent management including identification of top talent, succession planning, competency framework development etc
• Engagement and retention strategies
• Supporting the negotiation of Enterprise Agreement and interpretation
• Lead case investigations, grievances and disciplinaries
• Provision of generalist advice

To be successful in your application you will be an experienced HR Business Partner with prior ER/IR exposure and the confidence to bring practical solutions to the site management team. You will enjoy working as part of the wider human resources team, and it is essential that you possess contemporary HR practice pertaining to the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards.

Site based travel is an integral part of the success of this role, and it is expected that you will be on site for approximately one week a month for short stints of 1 or 2 nights.
