Assistant Manager, Finance

Responsibilities:

You will review the consolidation journals, manage consolidation spreadsheets, follow up and review submissions from subsidiaries, associates / JVs and ensure timely and accurate reporting of Group financial results.

You will assist in preparing and completing the monthly flash results, SGX results announcement, SGX compliance checklist, Board slides and investor relations/analyst presentation decks, manage the Group budgeting and forecasting process, and consolidation of the Group budget and forecast and review and update Group Accounting Policies in the half-year and annual reports and evaluate the impact of new FRS on the Group's results.

You have the capability to improve finance systems, workflows and processes and work with operations finance to ensure efficient and timely submission of results to the Group, participate in accounting and finance process improvement projects, and explore ways to leverage technology to enhance financial reporting, budgeting, and consolidation.

You will liaise with auditors on year-end audit matters and new financial reporting standard requirements, while assisting in any ad-hoc assignments as required, including PPA adjustments for acquisitions, act as a business partner to other divisions in relation to technical accounting and consolidation matters on ad hoc projects and transactions and is a hands-on person who will review the work of junior team members in a fast-paced environment and able to support the Senior Finance Manager in relation to team responsibilities.

Requirements:

You will possess a Degree in Accountancy or related discipline or professional accounting qualifications with at least 8 years working experience including Group consolidation experience in Singapore-listed companies preferred.

You are well-versed in Financial Reporting Standards, SGX reporting, Companies Act and other regulatory requirements and preferably with audit experience with established public accounting firms and Oracle Hyperion and/or Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Service (FCCS) consolidation experience.
