You will have a chance to work alongside senior team members in analysing investment opportunities in the energy and infrastructure sector in Mexico. Our client seeks a hands-on individual to play an active role in all aspects of the transaction, from origination through to execution and asset management.
What the job involves
- Play an active role in deal sourcing/origination of potential investments in the energy and infrastructure sectors in Mexico
- Oversee analyses and due diliigence of potential investment opportunities
- Support in the structuring and financing of the transactions
- Work closely with senior team members on all issues related to deal closing
- Play an active role in portfolio/asset management, monitoring financial, commercial, operating and ESG factors
- Prepare regular investment and valuation reports for senior management and investors
- Support capital raising initiatives
Who we are looking for
- Solid years of experience in investment banking, private equity or strategic management consulting; knowledge of the energy and infrastructure sectors (power generation, oil & gas, transportation, water, etc.) is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, actuary sciences or similar field, Master's degree a plus
- Superior analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders j
- Hands-on and energetic team player
- Charismatic leader to motivate and manage analysts and interns
- Advanced level of English
