What you'll be doing:
  • Identifying and analysing catalyst events for the stocks or sector under coverage • Providing real-time opinions on breaking news • Performing stock valuation analysis
  • Forecasting dividends
  • Evaluating special situations such as mergers and acquisitions and other corporate actions
  • Collaborating with derivative traders on investment ideas
  • Traveling to company events and conferences as required
  • Overseas training opportunities are provided

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years' experience in financial markets. Progress towards CFA qualification an advantage
  • Demonstrable interest in, and knowledge of, equity markets and the macroeconomic environment
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
  • Ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must be a self-starter, a quick learner, an effective communicator, and resourceful in solving problems
  • Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
  • Willingness to work additional and flexible hours when necessary
