Cape Ann Savings Bank, a Massachusetts mutual savings banking has been serving the greater Cape Ann community for more than 175 years. The Bank is seeking a qualified Trust Investment Officer (TIO) to round out its existing team of professionals in its Trust and Financial Services Department in Gloucester.  

The Trust Investment Officer works closely with our investment sub-advisor to develop and execute the Department’s investment strategies, create, review, and assess appropriate asset allocation models; monitor and respond to market conditions and make the final call on actual investment decisions.   The Trust Investment Officer partners with our Trust Officers to lead investment meetings, confer with clients, present financial reports, and evaluate asset performance. The chosen Trust Investment Officer will be required to assess macro and micro economic and market conditions and responses. The Trust Investment Officer will monitor the Department’s investment procedures and ensure that all investment decisions adhere to sound fiduciary principles. The Department’s customer base includes Trusts, individuals, families, businesses, and charities.

The chosen candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and possess either a Chartered Financial Analyst designation or a Master of Business Administration from an accredited college or university.  The chosen candidate should be comfortable speaking in public as the Bank’s and the Department’s representative.
