Admin / Asset manager support - Job Description

A unique opportunity to join a dynamic team at an exciting time in Macquarie's renewable energy journey within the asset investment space. You will be part of the Portfolio Management team within the Green Investment Group ("GIG"), part of Macquarie Asset Management.

As an Executive, based in either the London or Edinburgh office, you will be working closely with the asset managers as well as the reporting team supporting them with the coordination of internal processes and coordination of information required for the purpose of GIG's reporting to Macquarie's senior management.

One of the main responsibilities of the role involves:
  • Working closely with the asset manager of GIG subsidiaries (eg: Corio, Cero) in order to manage internal process for deal approvals between GIG subsidiaries and internal Macquarie stakeholders. This will involve chasing senior staff across a range of specialist functions to review and sign documents
  • Manage the funding and drawdown process of GIG subsidiaries, including monitoring of credit limits, and responsible for ensuring Macquarie internal processes make /receive payments and receipts on a timely basis
  • Support reporting team with the consolidation of information required to produce reports

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
  • Some experience in managing internal processes within a banking or investment institution environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and strong prioritisation skills
  • Being able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver within tight timelines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills giving you the ability to interact with various stakeholders.


This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure into the renewable energy sector, and therefore you will ideally have an interest to learn more about this industry in the context of asset investment and management
