Who are we looking for
Mox Bank has an ambitious agenda to grow its retail financial business lines with fee revenue over the next three years and there will be an unrelenting focus to build the most conducive customer journeys and digitise every experience to cover to prospects and existing clients with multiple type of need based insurances. As a member of the Mox product team and the lead for the Insurance business, the candidate will have responsibility for all lines of digital insurance acquisition, xSell and upsell. Working closely with the Design, Technology & Marketing teams this business leader will define the go to market approach, drive business development and deliver on the digital acquisition strategy, deliver campaigns and ensure the build of a robust insurance revenue line to meet our business goals - whilst ensuring fundamentally shifting the way Mox markets insurance to its customers - shifting from product focussed messaging to a customer need based approach. Hire, train and nurture a team of practitioners, providing best practice education and guidance with respect to Insurance purchase journeys and provide product matter expertise to enhance the value efficiency of marketing campaigns in partnering with the right insurance partners.

Responsibilites
  • Negotiate key partnerships with Insurance partners and build a robust fee income line of various Insurances. Define the Strategy & Go-To-Market approach for the Insurance business and make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on company revenues, capital, or business operations
  • Manage cross functional teams within Mox bank including management of people, budget and planning as well as manage a matrixed team across technology, marketing, risk, finance, data and decision management, operations
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies requiring coordination and integration across units, as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting the operations
  • Ensure solid partnerships and cross selling opportunities across range of products such as banking products, foreign exchange, credit, and wealth management to deliver comprehensive services and solutions for clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with risk, business risk, legal, compliance, and other relevant functions within Mox Bank, as well as various Insurance partners.
  • Develop and ensure execution of the business strategy, and manage risk and compliance in driving substantial growth targets for the Insurance business
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the bank's reputation, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency,
  • Attract, motivate, develop, and retain executive talent. Effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with business objectives
Requirement

  • Digital Capabilities - Demonstrated experience in, and passion for User Experience optimization with a proven ability to identify new blockers and pain points within digital acquisition journeys
  • Analysis and Decision Making - Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities and develop appropriate solutions. Proven ability to prioritize opportunities based on business outcomes
  • Leads Change and Innovation - Identify organisational requirements for future success and engage in those activities that facilitate the required degree of innovation and change. Act as a champion and role model for innovation and change in the industry/business/product line
  • Understand the Digital Insurance Landscape - Knowledge of the web analytics, digital insurance propositions, profitability and roles played by various stakeholders to make vendor / partner assessments
Personal Skills:
  • Visionary leader with background in Insurance consulting, business development, product development and marketing with 10 - 12 years of progressively senior level work in the Insurance industry
  • Preference of Digital Insurance P&L ownership
  • Demonstrates strong strategic, broad thinking and critical/analytical thinking with a strong aptitude for business and financial acumen.
  • Experience with customer focused strategy development. Passion for understanding customers, and experience building a customer oriented culture.
  • Experience and energy for instigating change. Resilient and adaptable.
  • Ability to influence a broad range of stakeholders, at a variety of levels including those that don't report into the role directly
  • Superior relationship, communication and change management skills
  • Creative, out- of- the- box thinker with ability to communicate and engage team members and partners, peers and senior management in business concepts and strategies
  • Effectively collaborate in a start-up environment, and clearly understand and deliver on the responsibility to share knowledge and leverage capabilities globally.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline and/or relevant Master's Degree considered an asset.
