Compliance Consultant - Financial Crime (EN)

Tasks
As a Compliance Consultant in Financial Crime (FC) you will be part of the Governance, Risk & Compliance practice. Your role will include the following tasks:
  • Supporting the preparation of internal compliance and FC related policies and procedures
  • Assisting in the rollout of these policies and procedures, including training
  • Monitoring and testing suspicious alerts and KYC files
  • Advising the client facing team on compliance related queries and interpretation of FC topics (e.g. 6th AML Directive)
  • Handling client acceptance and file reviews within different business lines
  • Supporting firms in managing the significant changes in FC regulation
  • Protecting customer interests
  • Reporting of incidents and analysis
  • Monitoring and recording of conduct concerns and breaches

Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Law or Economics
  • Good knowledge of the basic concepts and key regulatory changes
  • A first experience in a Compliance related topic is strongly advised
  • Comfortable to manage ambiguity
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Innovative and proactive approach
  • Entrepreneurship mindset
  • Great communication skills
  • Fluent in Dutch or French and English
