Purpose of Role:
The team is responsible for the oversight and governance of Middle Office Operations services delivered out of Hyderabad and to create a seamless end to end service on behalf of Aladdin Operating Platform Clients [our client, M&G].
Major Responsibilities:

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years Derivatives experience to join our Global Delivery Team for a period of 12 months. Knowledge needs to include Asset Manager experience covering a wide range of all asset classes but with a depth of experience in Derivatives, including products including rates, credit, equity & FX. Also a detailed working knowledge of Bilateral Collateral (+UMR), Bilateral OTC operations, OTC clearing, ETD operations.
The major responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Assist in defining and implementing the operating model, controls and ongoing performance monitoring for this new function
  • Act as the central point of contact with Hyderabad to co-ordinate and mobilise subject matter experts complex query resolution including breach reporting and actions to remediate
  • Objectively assess supplier performance on a prescribed frequency, working with them to remediate performance where required,
  • Act as liaison with Client Service Team, ensuring our service delivery is a seamless client experience,
  • Attend/input into service meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required
  • Deliver excellent client interaction at all times, proactively managing escalations in an open and transparent manner
  • Champion improvement initiatives and drive through to delivery,
  • Operate, at all times, in accordance with robust procedures and controls,
  • Work collaboratively and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance the team's controls and to support the improvement of the control environment,
  • Act as an escalation point for Hyderabad

  • Ensure all activities are compliant with corporate standards.
  • Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and Senior Management
  • Deliver high quality, professional service to Aladdin Operating Platform Clients (M&G)
  • Adhere to internal procedures and best practices at all times.


Specific Qualifications/Skills:
  • Demonstrable passion for client service stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training,
  • Detail oriented and with high attention to accuracy,
  • Ability to work within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity,
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure/ to deadlines.


Previous Level of Experience:
  • Minimum 5 -10 years of financial services experience, in Asset Management Operations
  • Strong knowledge in Derivative Operations, minimum of 5 years.
  • Prior Aladdin experience
  • Good knowledge of end-to-end operations model for investment management (front-to-back understanding)
  • Strong collaboration and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Proven delivery capability

  • Previous relationship management experience with stakeholders, third party administrators and suppliers and advantage
