This is a global wholesale bank with a strategic focus in growing their Asia footprints. With Singapore being the regional hub, they have created several new headcounts in Operational Risk team as they are looking to enhance the existing risk measurement standards and framework. These are highly visible roles with senior stakeholders across the region and headquarters.
Responsibilities
Managing a Regional portfolio, you will be responsible for reviewing, challenging and developing new operational risk policies and framework that take into account risk from the current dynamic risk landscape. You will spearhead and refine the risk guidelines and have the autonomy to redesign the existing policies. You will drive the usage of data analytics and tools for risk measurements. You will also be the key point of contact to senior risk leaders in the bank and external forum to be keeping abreast of the latest risk techniques and topics. This is a line risk role that requires a game-changer mindset as you will be influencing the change across the risk function. This is an exciting opportunity where you will engage with senior internal stakeholders and present to Global Risk Management Committees.
Requirements
With minimum of 10 - 15 years of related Operational Risk Management experience in Wholesale Banks / Global Markets. Usage of data analytic tools and techniques is a plus. Change Management experience is preferred. Proven ability to write policies, present ideas and engage senior stakeholders is a plus. Strong corporate governance, regulatory knowledge and problem-solving skills are preferred. You are highly resilient, a strong team player, driven, solutions-focused, and has strong influencing skills.
