Madison Energy Investments (“MEI”) is a high-growth, PE-backed renewable energy company with investments in Solar, Battery and Electric Vehicle infrastructure. MEI offers a start-up atmosphere that is well-capitalized and backed by a leading infrastructure fund. MEI was founded by industry experts with experience deploying over $1B into distributed generation assets totaling more than 300 MW across 20+ state markets. To date, MEI has invested and built 100+ renewable projects.
The Finance Associate will report to the Vice President of Finance with direct access to the Managing Partner. The primary role is to prepare investment valuations to assess renewable energy projects, plan and forecast enterprise-level financial decisions and interact with all areas of renewable energy finance (private equity, debt and tax equity investors). The Associate will build complex financial models incorporating debt, tax equity, and permanent equity financing to evaluate project economics. Strong candidates will have experience in valuations, corporate finance and accounting. Experience in Solar or Renewables is preferred, but not required. Ideal candidates will be taking the knowledge and practices of their current industry and translate it with a passion for doing renewable energy projects.
