This position is accountable for leading analysis of Columbia Threadneedle institutional and sub-advisory account activities as well as new solutions across multiple operations and business units to ensure for a successful client experience. In this role, the Senior Manager influences business decision-making by providing analysis that lead to recommended solutions for business objectives and is responsible for leading highly complex projects from design through implementation. Acts as liaison between the business, staff, utility functions and at times, external parties to ensure information exchange and accomplish business objectives.

Responsibilities

•Analyze highly complex business issues by incorporating internal and investment industry knowledge, technological expertise, and sound analytical processes. Work across the organization to gather, examine and assess accuracy of analysis. Ability to assess business process issues, define options for resolution and recommend process improvements. Identify issues and/or recommend actions by using quantitative and qualitative techniques. Evaluate most effective approach for presenting finding

•Lead projects for recommended solutions including defining the overall objectives and key deliverables; identify and track key measures of success. Ensure the development of a comprehensive project plan that incorporates requirements, deliverables, accountabilities and timelines. Provide regular status reporting on plan progress, as defined by company standards.

•Manage multiple relationships across the organization, including senior level leaders, and at times with external parties and clients. Answer questions within the business area of expertise. Act as a liaison among business leaders, staff and utility functions to gather information and share best practices, and to ensure initiatives are executed appropriately. Manage project partners across multiple business lines.

•Act as a subject matter expert for business area. Present results of analysis and/or recommendations to business leaders, utility partners, and at time external parties. Communicate action plans and priorities to appropriate partners.

•Provide effective people leadership through effective coaching, feedback, and guidance. Act as champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to individual or organizational success. Set department initiatives and aligns on project priorities.

Required Qualifications

•Bachelors degree or equivalent (4 years)
•7- 10 years relevant experience
•Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills: proven ability to gather and analyze data, create process maps, write requirements, provide status updates and develop fact-based conclusions and recommendations.
•Demonstrated project management experience including managing business application development.
•Investment-related experience and in-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to conduct process improvement efforts.
•Excellent interpersonal,verbal and written communication skills to effectively gather information and disseminate facts and recommendations
•Ability to influence across organization and to senior leaders.
•Proven experience in understanding and applying technology as it relates to the business.
•Strong effective working relationships with varying levels of employees and influence improvements and efficiencies to work processes.
•Demonstrated enthusiasm and curiosity for digging in deeper and learning and developing creative solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience in Agile and Lean methodologies
