Overview

Responsibilities
  • Support BNY Mellon's Debt and Equity capital markets desk - largely high-grade corporate bonds, preferred and common stock.
  • Help with Debt & Equity deal execution
  • Analyze company balance sheets and cash flow statements to determine prospective capital markets needs, cost of funding
  • Analyze issuer deal flow and wallet share amongst large bank syndicates, work with credit and underwriting teams.
  • Prepare and maintain deal and issuer pitchbooks and associated data bases.
  • Interact and join banking colleagues on deal and/or issuer pitches.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred. 1-3 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Financial Services experience with a particular client type or product (Hedge, Pension, etc.) preferred as is prior experience in a related customer-facing role, Sales Support, Global Capital Markets or Product Management.
