Serve as Manager to the junior team members (Analysts and Associates) to oversee training, mentoring, morale, staffing, and work-product consistency. Market Coverage officer reporting Head of Acquisitions.


  • Responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and closing real estate investments across the firm's investments strategies in select U.S. markets.
  • Responsible for the ownership and development of relationships with third party operating partners, brokers, and service providers in select U.S. markets.
  • Oversee and mentor Associate/Senior Associates with overlapping market coverage. Manage small deal teams to process and execute transactions while developing junior talent.
  • Analyze select real estate markets and market niches to delineate investment themes and targets.
  • Identify, underwrite, negotiate, and perform due diligence on new investments.
  • Communicate and negotiate with partners, brokers, and sellers of property.
  • Negotiate deal structure and compensation with operating partners.
  • Develop and originate optimal capital structure for investments.
  • Oversee analytical functions to value real estate using Argus, Excel, and other financial tools.
  • Prepare and present Investment Committee recommendations.
  • Monitor and communicate with the capital markets regarding equity capital, fund investment/formation, debt markets and deal structures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 10 years of real estate finance or acquisitions experience.
  • Experience with complex financial modeling / strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ARGUS required.
  • Demonstrated interest in the real estate industry.
  • Ability to operate independently, in small deal teams and with a large amount of individual responsibility.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a demonstrated willingness to take on tasks across the full range of responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Unquestioned integrity and the highest ethical standards.
