ICG Risk & Controls - Risk Identification/Enterprise Risk Management Project Manager
  • This new role is part of Citi Institutional Client Group (ICG) Risk and Control team, working with ICG Business partners and Second Line Enterprise Risk functions to implement risk identification and enterprise risk framework across ICG.
  • The role will play a key project management role in the implementation of ICG deliverables as part of Citiwide project plans to deliver target state Risk Identification and Enterprise risk framework and associated control processes across ICG, addressing all risk categories and ICG businesses.
  • The role will require a strong understanding of Risk ID and Enterprise risk management with particular focus on ICG business areas, and an ability to drive project delivery of a range of broad and complex deliverables
Responsibilities:
  • Manage ICG responsibilities within a number of critical Citiwide transformation projects covering Risk ID and Enterprise risk
  • Own project goals, leading to inspire a sense of shared purpose within the project team.
  • Use best practice PMO methodology to create a project plan to fit stakeholder needs and deliver within budget on desired outcomes..
  • Prepare, maintain, and submit clear and concise activity/progress reports and management reports, covering project milestones, status updates, as well as any existing or potential customer escalation issues.
    • Apply a proactive approach in routinely tracking progress against project goals; identify and articulate any concerns, bringing the right people together to solve problems and assess solutions
    • Proactively follow escalation and change control processes.
    • Produce analysis and documentation to support a range of project deliverables ranging from management status communication to detailed project closure document for independent verification
    • Promote good working relationships across Risk ID and Enterprise risk projects, working closely across stakeholders develop trust, communication and common purpose
    • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
  • Pevious project management experience - preferably from a mortgage or financial services environment
  • PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus.
  • Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.
  • Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.
  • Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.
  • Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.
  • Manage client expectations, anticipates operational and tactical risks and tracks them; clarify, identify, and track requirements and issues, remove barriers, resolve minor project issues and escalate to immediate manager where required.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars.
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
