Finance Manager, Investment Management

A startup investment management firm in the fintech space is looking to hire their first Finance Manager to setup the finance function. This is a hybrid fund accounting and corporate accounting (financial reporting and FP&A) role. You will be responsible for the following:

• Create, manage, and analyze financial planning models and processes to reduce operational risk, estimate financial results, and drive team performance.
• Work directly with global team members to prepare monthly updates, analysis, budgets, and forecast.
• Work with corporate finance team to reconcile the financial statements, accounting schedules, and revenue collection
• Handle and monitor fund operation and finance processes
• Review books and accounting records of the investment holding entities.
• Produces fund financial statements and other required financial information including but not limited to investor funded and unfunded commitments.
• Operates the daily activities of the treasury, cash management and accounting function of the fund.
• Monitors, compiles and analyzes financial data.
• Some regions updates and monitors daily trading, general ledger activity and pricing of funds to ensure accuracy of daily NAV calculation.
• Support audit, tax and other statutory requirements within stipulated timelines
• Responds to information needs of management to meet new accounting and business requirements

Bachelor with 7 to 15 years of experience. Certified Accountant qualifications is preferred. Good communication skills and stakeholder management is must.
