What will you be doing?

• On behalf of a global financial services organization, develop or apply mathematical or statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information.
• Responsible for strategy development and delivery of high-risk accounts to ensure portfolio performance achieves targets.
• Lead team of analysts responsible for strategy development and changes in high-risk account exposure management programs, including high-risk universe management, credit line decrease, judgmental review and inactive closure.
• Analyze and optimize transaction level risks from authorizations and payments, balancing customer experience with risk mitigation.
• Recommend complex credit strategy to significantly impact bank's losses and profitability.
• Use statistical tools including SAS (Statistical Analysis Software) and SQL (Structured Query) to mine data, perform complex quantitative analysis, and derive meaningful insights.
• Present proposals through required governance forums and to senior management and coordinate with stakeholders in various functions.

What we're looking for:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering (any) or a related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience in Credit Strategy, Credit Risk, Data Analytics or related occupation.

Must have at least five years (5) of employment experience with each of the following required skills:

• Acquisition underwriting strategy & data analytics;
• Acquisition line assignment strategy;
• ECM credit strategy & data analytics;
• Loans strategy & valuation;
• ECM Authorization strategy;
• Payment risk model validation; and
• Model Validation and Report Writing.

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Wilmington, DE location at 125 South West Street. At Barclays' Wilmington campus includes two beautiful buildings located along the historic Wilmington, DE Riverfront. A glance out our windows reveal a scenic look at the Christiana River, along with a growing riverfront community of luxury apartments, shops, and restaurants. Additionally, the Wilmington train station is a short walk away making travel from New York and Washington, DC convenient.
