  • Primary function and responsibilities
    • Assessment of new investment opportunities including modelling, fundamental credit analysis and write-up of reports
    • Monitoring of results of the assigned credits and recommend buy and sell actions to the portfolio manager, based on new information and CLO constraints
    • Presentation of new investments to a credit committee
    • Attendance of lender presentations, result calls and leverage finance conferences.
  • Adhoc responsibilities include the following:
    • ESG analysis of new and existing investments
    • Participation in weekly, monthly and payment reports
    • Integration of new portfolio management tools


CANDIDATE QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Technical skills, required knowledge and experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a credit analyst
  • Fluent in English
  • Skilled in MS Office Suite, particularly strong in excel and power point
  • Good understanding of the LBO capital structure
  • Company valuation skills
  • Relationship building with both sell side and buy side to build market knowledge

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education / Certification
  • Financed/Accounting related Undergrad diploma
  • Master's in Accounting or Finance or CFA / ACCA desired but not mandatory
