Responsibilities:
  • Maintain detailed books and records for the Company and its affiliated investment funds and management company entities
  • Perform financial reporting, monthly consolidation and budgeting for the management company of the Funds
  • Impose financial controls and regulatory compliance
  • Prepare full set of accounts and other accounting-related duties
  • Maintain service relationships with auditors, tax consultants, banks and outsourcing companies
  • Involve in the year-end audit on all corporate entities of the Funds
  • Perform fund administration and reporting duties, including preparation of drawdown and distribution notices to internal stakeholders, preparing quarterly capital accounts and financial reports of the SLPs and consolidated management reporting
  • Maintain financial positions of the SLPs and co-investments
  • Help maintain systematic documentation
  • Provide support in fundraising and new fund set-up
  • Analyze tax positions of Hong Kong and PRC subsidiaries

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, business or corporate administration
  • Professional accounting qualifications, e.g. ACCA, AICPA
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience, with the latest 4 years gained from a financial institution or an asset management firm; some prior audit experience with big 4 firms is preferred
  • Good spreadsheet, financial, budgeting and consolidation skills
  • Experience in private equity funds and/or additional qualifications in finance such as CFA would be an added advantage
  • Strong team player with high adaptability to a small team environment
  • Flexible, responsive and able to manage a diverse set of demanding priorities
  • Proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks, and adaptability to a small team environment and high standards for accuracy and quality
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good knowledge in Hong Kong and PRC companies and taxation laws
