AVP/VP - FI Credit Approval

Overview

A global bank with its regional APAC hub in Hong Kong is seeking to hire a AVP/VP, Credit Approval, Financial Institutions review and approve credit for Financial Institutions business .

Role Responsibilities

• Review and approve credit applications of large corporate and financial institutional group credit applications within the delegated approval authority; and provide recommendations for requiring higher approval authority
• Manage and monitor portfolio of assigned units and ensure credit quality and full compliance with Bank's credit policies and risk appetites;
• Highlight and identify exceptions against the Bank's lending policies, standard terms and conditions being offered to borrowing clients; and
• Perform other ad hoc projects or assignments.

Requirements

• 8 years' solid experience of large corporate, FIG, and/ or relationship management,
• Sound knowledge in various corporate lending products, accounting principles and financial statement analysis;
• Good understanding in key market and industry dynamics; and
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
