Business Continuity Management Associate
Location: Wilmington, Delaware or Princeton, New Jersey

Role description:
Reporting to the Program Operations Manager for Enterprise Resilience, this Associate position will be responsible for maintaining, analyzing and improving data used by the Enterprise Resilience program. The position is multi-faceted and includes elements of system administration/development, business analysis and project management.

The applicant will maintain and operate the planning and notification systems daily, including the health of all data feeds into, or out of, the systems. Use strong data analytical and visualization skills to analyze Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery data and identify key insights for the teams. Provide timely support to various business users across the world. Develop system and reporting improvements in alignment with strategic direction provided by the Enterprise Resilience program leaders.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the planning tool and emergency notification system, including data feed integrity
  • Conduct data analysis activities independently
  • Leverage data to assist the team in understanding program risks
  • Support Program Operations team with data and metrics requests
  • Provide system troubleshooting and support for Enterprise Resilience team members related to reporting issues or data inconsistencies
  • Coordinate user access permissions for planning and notification systems according to established program standards
  • Provide troubleshooting and support to business Plan Owners and Coordinators in resolving access, data quality or security issues
  • Monitor and manage maintenance updates to systems
  • Communicate change management activities that may result in system access downtime
  • Troubleshoot or raise issue tickets with Vendor support and track open issues until closed
  • Work with partners to identify opportunities for program improvements
Skills/Requirements:
  • A Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline preferred ; will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience.
  • 3-4 years experience in fast-paced environment
  • Strong experience with sophisticated data quality assessment and improvement efforts (required)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills - ability to quickly analyze data to identify key insights and apply them to the business and systems
  • Strong understanding of relational database structures, concepts, and designs
  • Strong orientation to clients, including demonstrated ability to understand needs and apply this knowledge to drive data enhancements
  • Sophisticated mastery of MS Office including Excel, Access, Word, Power Point and Outlook
  • Strong, clear verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good at project management; ability to prioritize and time manage is essential
  • Focus on development/ improvement of data to support continuous evolution
  • Gains support for change by providing context and responding with sensitivity to concerns; takes initiative to recommend/ develop innovative approaches to getting things done
  • Experience with business continuity and/or disaster recovery planning preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred. Experience as a Salesforce (Fusion Framework System) administrator or developer is a plus.
  • Technical capability/interest and willingness to learn new skills
  • Experience of managing outsourced vendors/suppliers in a technology context preferred
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy, meticulous and logical in your work
  • Good sense of ownership, self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
  • Software development experience is a plus
