Provide advisors, staff, senior leadership, and internal business partners support, technical knowledge, and ownership of complex correspondence requests, issues and situations. Provide proactive relationship management including analysis and reporting to practices and internal corporate partners and consulting at a branch or practice level, as identified. Manage objectives and priorities as they relate to client correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations and advise advisors, staff, and field leaders to guide them through service processes, escalations and business operations. Must be an expert as it relates to Ameriprise processes and procedures (i.e. New Business, Clearing, Compliance, compensation, etc.). Connect with field and corporate partners on specific process improvement, trends, and enhancements. Resolve cases, ensure appropriate responses, and provide training to associates.
  • Provide practice support and financial service expertise to field leaders, advisors, and staff up to and including Regional Director of Operations (RDO) or Franchise Engagement & Implementation (FEI) Managers. Seek to create and implement information and solutions for complex advisor, staff, and leader issues and challenges as appropriate. Perform routine reporting and analysis contributing to recommendations for the business unit based on needs for process improvement.
  • Serve as the main point of contact and provide assistance for escalated or complex questions, issues, or situations and assist advisors, staff, and leaders with navigation through departments, systems, processes, procedures, policies, tools, and capabilities. Develop, sustain, and improve relationships with advisors, staff, field leaders, technology, and business partners. Provide branch and practice level consultation, as identified or requested.
  • Demonstrate and maintain a strong fundamental knowledge of Ameriprise products, industry standard products, practices, and tools. Maintain strong brokerage, legal, regulatory and compliance knowledge. Act as expert on CCC, Thomson ONE/BETA systems, tools, and capabilities.
  • Understand and follow the Ameriprise Financial Style Guide and Client Service Writing Guide. Understand complex client letter requests and compose correspondence, including free-text and template style, to clients. RP written correspondence composed by yourself and others.
  • Participate in ad hoc project work drafted to improve Advisor and client experience. Communicate results and share trends and issues with key partners.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent (4-years)
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for
  • education and experience.
  • Active FINRA Series 7 Series 24 or ability to obtain within 120 days
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to establish accountability with business partners.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence at all leadership levels and stakeholders to impacted processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Strong knowledge of all products and systems on the Ameriprise Brokerage Platform.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to travel, on occasional.
