ALGO Support Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead a team in HK to provide top-down support to Algorithm Trading, Smart Router and Analytic Suite (Real time & Post trade) in Asia Markets
• Analyse Algo Strategies, Business requirement and Exchange Microstructure / Rules
• Define Issue Tracking and Incident Management procedures to manage clear expectations to Business
• Reduce false alerts on real-time monitoring tools , improve accuracy Scripting in Python to aid analysis, automation and detect system issues before impacting business
• Monitoring the platform and taking proactive action to provide a very high level of support service
• Being the primary contact for front-office covering traders in handling queries of both a technical and a strategy-specific nature
• Provide support/trouble shooting on the Real-time monitoring and Transaction Cost Analysis systems
• Managing and tracking daily production problems ensuring timely resolution and effective communication to clients
• Liaise with developers, team members in other regions and senior management regarding product developments and issue escalation/tracking

Requirements

• 8-year experience in trading application support Advantageous Additional Skills
• S trong communication skills with fluency in English
• Excellent prioritization , analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good client management and interpersonal skills
• Highly self-motivated with a collaborative approach
• In depth knowledge in Algorithmic Trading, FIX protocol and market data systems
• Experience with scripting languages - e.g. Shell, Python, Perl and SQL
• Some theoretical and practical experience of the QA process
• Knowledge of Asian equity markets
• Experience with bug-tracking or issue tracking software or proces
