Are you an Operations Project Manager with a passion for operational excellence?

We are looking for a Project Manager who will work initially on a 12 month fixed term contract with our regional regulatory operations Business Analyst team - a collaborative team of subject matter experts in European regulations and transaction reporting for our commodities and global markets business.

This team is responsible for ensuring the completeness and accuracy of transaction reporting across the EMEA region, including monitoring and clearing exceptions, producing management reporting, and working with stakeholders including business, compliance, legal, and technology. You will have a good understanding of trade lifecycle and system flows and use this knowledge to aid in investigations. In addition to daily deliverables, you will be working on continuous improvement initiatives to our processes, and applying your strong risk mindset to identify and escalate issues.

Where you are acting as the Project Manager on a particular initiative you will be expected to:
  • Collaborate effectively with project team members and senior stake holders across different functional areas & locations to monitor project progress
  • Prepare regular status update to project stakeholders & sponsors
  • Track, manage and escalate change request, project risk and issue proactively
  • Maintain the respective project plan and follow up outstanding items

To thrive in this role you will;
  • Demonstrate financial services experience, preferably within the Commodities/Global markets Operations environment - with transaction reporting experience being advantageous
  • Have a proven track record of problem solving or process improvement within your roles
  • Be able to learn new skills and manage multiple deliveries at the same time
  • Possess a good understanding of project management approach and process within a standard project life cycle would be an advantage
  • Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess detail-oriented, strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Positive working attitude and able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
