Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities
  • Process Manual Journal Entries (MJE) and Third Party Vendor Payments from stakeholders within agreed SLA
  • Perform checks to ensure MJE and Third Party Vendor Payments forms are filled correctly and validate DOA
  • Process fee collection relating to businesses supported by WMO (Trailer, Sales commission, Referral, Custody) from reconciliation, issuance of invoice to posting of relevant entries
  • Co-ordinate with Product Managers, Finance and Business Teams on fee collection and processing
  • Monitor and follow up on payments and timely escalation of non-receipt
  • Prepare month end KRI reporting
  • Review breaks daily and investigate any breaks/differences identified and perform necessary follow-up to clear the discrepancy
  • Create new SOP and Process Risk Mapping (PRM) for new process or update/maintain existing SOP and PRM as and when there are changes in processes
  • Escalate issues/concerns to Team Manager and work towards resolution
  • Participate in projects, work with Team Manager on process improvements and streamlining of processes through automation
Requirements
  • Diploma / Bachelor Degree with 2-3 years experience
  • Understanding of Private Banking products
  • Ability to multi-task and move in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate flexibility and capability to take on different roles and activities
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills working with formulas and large data for analysis
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with Management as well as ensuring smooth BAU operations
  • A team player who can be pro-active with a "can do" spirit, active participation in new initiatives/projects and willing to learn and improve
  • Good command of software skills in MS Office, in particular Excel/Power Point/Flow Charts
