What you will be responsible for:

Provides overall management and administrative services to the HK office of MFS. Primary role is to support the Managing Director, HK & Southeast Asia at the HK office in addition to the sales and relationship managers in managing relationships with MFS' clients and sales prospects by providing outstanding service. In addition to provide a variety of administrative duties that are time sensitive and requires high level of accuracy and care.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in production and delivery (local and overseas) of marketing/ pitch books and client review books in a time sensitive manner.
  • Review books: Coordinate production for client review books for MFS HK's, Korea's and Southeast Asia's separate account clients working with the Senior Sales and RM Associate, reporting teams, desktop groups, Institutional Portfolio Managers, Product Managers and Relationship Managers. Assists in editing and translation (English to Traditional Chinese Characters and vice versa) of some contents in client review books whenever necessary and in accordance with clients' request and checklist
  • Source, proof, edit and provide content updates as needed in marketing materials created for MFS' HK, Korea and Southeast Asia region. Responsible for ensuring all production deadlines are met, the agenda and act as central coordinator for marketing materials targeted at both prospects and existing clients.
  • Responsible for the record keeping of client's data in C360 for all sales and business activities in HK, Korea & Southeast Asia region.
  • Maintain a database of new business opportunities and prospects and produce summary reports on such activities when needed.
  • Ensure organization information, contact details and the distribution list for reqular marketing materials in C360 are up to date and accurate.
  • Assists to compile annual institutional AUM data for HK and Southeast Asia region from public information. Assists in gathering information on prospects and clients and products for background information.
  • Assist in booking travels, hotels, restaurants, making courier arrangements.
  • Assist in all logistics regarding business trips (including itinerary background information etc.) and conferences.
  • Assist in processing expenses of the distribution team.
  • Anticipate client and sales people's needs.
  • Communicate messages efficiently and check emails and update review meetings, prospects and internal appointments on the calendar in a timely manner throughout the working day.
  • Assist the team in marketing activities such as sponsorship of industry and client conferences, preparation of marketing materials and all logistics relating to such activities.
  • RFP/ RFI/ finals production: Occasionally, assist in producing hard-copy RFP/RFI & finals.
  • Assist Responsible Officer in regular submission of monthly, quarterly and annual surveys and liaison with internal teams.
  • Performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties which may be complex in nature to assist Responsible Officer of the HK office and to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Strong verbal communication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English • Able to work under minimum supervision • Meticulous • Self-starter with high level of initiative and a strong team player • Deadline driven • Ability to do multi-tasking without losing focus • Highly organized and ability to plan ahead • Ability to adjust and cope with uneven/unpredictable work flows • Willingness to work hard • Excellent written communication skills in Chinese (Traditional) and English • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power point, Excel, Word, Mac) PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS :

• Diploma in business related studies • Minimum 2 years' work experience in similar roles • Understanding of the financial markets will be a plus • Knowledge of Korean language will be a plus
