Ganesh Investments manages the assets of several Pritzker family foundations and certain assets of Gigi Pritzker Pucker / Michael Pucker (DNS Capital), Penny Pritzker (PSP Partners) and Tom Pritzker (The Pritzker Organization). We do this through third party managers. We selectively invest capital in strategies and asset classes globally that offer the greatest risk‐adjusted return potential.

Job Purpose
The Investment Associate works closely with the investment team to aid them in due diligence of both new and existing investments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analytical and research support to the senior investment team:
    • Conduct research on industries, countries, companies and niche asset classes.
    • Attend select meetings with managers, economists, analysts, consultants, company executives, etc.
    • Perform due diligence on investment managers;
    • Attend select meetings with managers, economists, analysts, consultants, company executives, etc.
    • Perform variety of analyses related to risk exposures, attribution, liquidity, taxes and fees.
  • Write investment memoranda, recommendations, PowerPoint presentations and meeting notes to support the investment process.
  • Aid financial reporting team in the production of monthly and quarterly reports to our clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a professional setting (possibly, but not necessarily, investment banking, finance, consulting, or data analytics).
  • Strong quantitative and numerical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Detail oriented, self‐starter, strong work ethic, multi‐tasker, team player.
  • Strong interest in investing and financial markets.
  • Willingness to travel.
