Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities:

• Taking part in application governance activities
• Immediate handling of user impacted production incidents
• Development using BDD and TDD approaches
• Taking part in improving the performance of the application, optimizing the build time, automating the manual efforts.
• Follow agile methodologies
• Writing unit test cases
• Taking part in profiling and suggesting recommendations and implementations

Requirements:

• Knowledge of application development using Kony
• Android application development using Java and Kotlin, Added advantage for hands on experience in iOS.
• Should be trained on Agile
• Added advantage for hands on experience in mobile web application development.
• Hands on experience on web application development using JAVA/ J2EE,
• Added advantage for hands on experience on jBoss, MariaDB, DB2, jBoss, AWS
• Proficient in using Android Studio, Bitbucket Git, SonarQube, Fortify, JIRA, Lint, CPU Profiling, Memory profiling, Jenkins, security implications, Gradle plugins, jUnit and Mockito
• Experience in using MVP, MVVM, RxJava, Dagger, Firebase, Retrofit
• Experience in Accessibility implementation and creation of custom components.
• Should be able to work in a team or as an individual or leading a team
• Proficient in build time improvements, application performance improvement, Optimisation[, handling customer incidents.
• Hands on experience in production support
• Feature development using BDD and TDD approaches
