Job Purpose

The role will primarily be responsible for the execution of marketing activities for the wholesale segment in the UK but will also incorporate a degree of marketing activity to support the Institutional channel. This will involve a variety of tasks, including delivering advertising, email marketing, web, events, content, account-based marketing, co-marketing and adhoc marketing projects for different products and segments.

Key Accountabilities
  • Coordinate and implement a number of marketing activities across the full range of marketing disciplines to support business growth in the UK, working closely with the Wholesale and Institutional senior marketing managers. The primary focus will be on the UK Wholesale segment, but the role will also support the institutional channel as and when required. Activities may include advertising, email communications, events both third party and proprietary, videos, client coms, web, content , social media and research.
  • Support the delivery of strategic campaigns, tactical campaigns and segment-specific initiatives such as fund launches and local initiatives. This will include contributing to setting objectives, developing messages, defining customer journeys and marketing plan, project managing asset delivery across a broad range of channels and measuring results, all in coordination with the senior marketing managers and the Head of Marketing for Northern Europe.
  • Support on co-marketing and account-based marketing initiatives to build awareness, engagement and consideration for AXA IM with key clients.
  • Support the roll out and distribution of content developed by the content writer for Northern Europe, the global content teams and other teams as relevant. This will involve defining and implementing the distribution strategy across advertising, emailing, social media and co-marketing platforms.
  • Help to manage a variety of projects for the Northern European marketing team as and when required
  • Help to manage the budget for each activity and play a key role in helping to measure the efficiency of marketing activities.

Role Requirements
  • Relevant degree and experience in marketing and communications in the financial services sector, preferably with experience of the asset management/securities sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build easy relationships with different teams and person (investment teams, product managers, sales teams and other business partners) to capture ideas and extract relevant and timely information
  • Strong project management skills and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communicating skills
  • Proven ability and confidence in presenting
  • Experience in managing internal stakeholders
  • Good creative skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interest in investment matters
  • Be a proactive, dynamic, and highly client-focused self-starter
  • Able to work independently yet as a proven team player
  • Preferred second language capabilities in Dutch. optional and not mandatory
