Role Responsibilities
The Group Transformation Office (GTO) drives and executes the overall strategic transformation agenda. Our purpose is to drive Group-wide change, accelerate outcomes and enable the Bank to achieve its strategic ambition through a unified, value driven approach and our core competencies. The GTO comprises of Group Portfolio Analytics and Programme Management (which includes Transformation Management Team), Delivery Ways of Working, Operational Excellence Ways of Working and Design Thinking Ways of Working. We collaborate closely with senior business and function leaders in the bank to build and drive the bank-wide transformation.
Our work is dynamic and evolving, in accordance with our stakeholder needs. We help the Board and Senior Management to understand key industry trends and their implications for our Group, and partner with businesses and functions in multiple business segments and geographies to define their strategic priorities and to drive forward delivery of implementation plans to achieve desired outcomes.
This role, "Transformation Manager", is part of the Transformation Management team, who provide multi-disciplinary expertise in designing, structuring and driving forward implementation of strategic initiatives that are often pan-bank in nature. Our work requires focused and creative collaboration and problem solving, deeply integrating new Ways of Working into the ultimate products as part of core design - whether frameworks, wide-scale process improvements, or supporting client solutions. Proposed solutions must be scalable and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders, across numerous country locations and with a sharp and acute focus on balancing speed to market with optimal risk management.
In your role you are expected to be
  • Structuring issue-based work plans, developing hypotheses, driving parts of transformation storyline.
  • Taking ownership of work-streams or projects, designing and conducting analyses of internal and external data, doing secondary research, synthesising conclusions, making presentations.
  • Engaging and discussing key business issues with business / functional stakeholders.
  • Leading, owning and driving key strategic pieces of work as it relates to transformation / new ways of working.
  • Working as part of (either in a capacity as a PO, Squad Member or Scrum Master) cross-disciplinary teams with members across a multiple businesses, functions and regions.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 8+ years banking or consulting experience with a top tier firm or within Group COO, Strategy, or Transformation functions of leading financial institutions
  • Any Diploma or Graduate Degree from a recognized University
  • Comfortable working in a relatively unstructured, project-based and multi-cultural environment;
  • Generalist that can work with minimal supervision and steer through ambiguity, collaborating well with SMEs;
  • Track record of change delivery in a variety of contexts, with strong stakeholder management experience.
  • Growth-mindset comfortable quickly gaining the knowledge and expertise required to understand the scope, activities and processes of any given business or function in the Group.
  • Strong analytical skill-set, comfortable assessing data and drawing sound conclusions with excellent skills in communicating outputs concisely for senior stakeholder consumption
