What you will be responsible for: The Market Data Analyst role is a strategic position within MFS' Global Investment Support and Technology organization. The Market Data Analyst will support MFS' market data program, which has a key objective of providing the best market data solutions to the enterprise in a cost-efficient manner. This will be achieved by collaborating with internal business partners to understand their market data requirements and engagement with vendors to align MFS' requirements with their solutions.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with MFS personnel to continuously evaluate market data solutions to ensure MFS has the best solutions implemented based on our business requirements.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle of existing market data subscriptions and assist with the procurement and onboarding of new solutions.
  • Maintain information relating to market data users, vendors, and services.
  • Assist and facilitate the training of end users on market data products & services.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive business relationships with our external vendor partners.
  • Ensure MFS is compliant with the usage of our market data solutions with respect to our contractual obligations.
  • Reconcile and review invoices against contracts for payment processing. Assume additional responsibilities as required.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience within the financial services industry.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills and capable of learning how to troubleshoot applications.
  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking and problem solving skills are essential.
  • Possess outstanding verbal and written communication.
  • Customer service-oriented and good relationship building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Available to work off-hours and on weekends as needed.
  • Familiarity with how to use market data applications such as Bloomberg, FactSet, EIKON, FITS etc. is a plus.
