As a Client Manager, the role holder will stay abreast of local, regional and global trends as well as keep up-to-date with our investment strategies. Using this knowledge, they will advise and inform clients with the aim of developing existing relationships into new opportunities.

As the vital link between the clients and the firm, the role holder will explain our investment strategies and effectively communicate the performance of our strategies. When our clients have bespoke requirements and queries - they will work closely with internal teams to find and implement the most effective solution.

This specific role sits within the Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa (LatEMEA) team and will have responsibility for our business in Southern Europe. The successful candidate will join a team who have responsibility for our clients across these differing regions. This role, focussing on Southern Europe, will primarily focus on our clients in Iberia and Italy. We would expect the successful candidate to look after the needs of existing clients as well as drive our business development efforts in these countries.

Responsibilities
  • Representing and building the brand and reputation of the firm focusing on investors in Southern Europe.
  • Collecting and sharing feedback from clients on investment strategies, products, and trends.
  • Participating as an active team player in the LatEMEA team.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of prospective investors, proactively identifying new business opportunities.
  • Respond to queries from clients and prospects promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure high standards of marketing are fulfilled. This includes, but is not limited to: understanding prospects' needs, ongoing contact with prospects; information reporting to prospects, and dealing with problems as they arise.
  • Be involved in handling regular and ad hoc tasks and queries, ensuring the information provided is accurate and at a high standard.
  • Assist with the coordination of visits and meetings with clients and prospects.
  • Involvement in the delivery of new initiatives and projects, where appropriate.
  • Expand knowledge of the Firm's product line and strategies, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Attend conferences and select industry events to drive activities that lead to prospect meetings.
  • Work closely and effectively with Client Department product groups to build and maintain a high level of knowledge of the Firm's key investment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain investment knowledge.
  • Make a valuable contribution to knowledge sharing within the firm.

Experience and Knowledge
  • Proven interest in investment.
  • Recent experience of working in the asset management industry.
  • The flexibility and enthusiasm to work in a small team to achieve a common goal.
  • Developing and managing relationships with clients and potential clients.
  • Good understanding of the wholesale and institutional market.
  • A passion for focusing on clients' needs and spending time understanding their requirements.

Abilities and Skills
  • Fluent in Italian (very desirable), French (desirable) and English (essential).
  • Strong presentation, communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive self-driven approach to work and professional development.
  • Embrace diversity with collaboration skills to work effectively with others and deliver the best outcomes.
  • An eye for factual accuracy that ensures all client communications are consistent and correct.
  • The ability to relate to, and work with, people at all levels internally and externally.
